This week a video of Jeff Bliss, a sophomore at Duncanville High School in Texas, went viral on the internet. The video shows Jeff telling his teacher off about the ways she had been teaching the class.
Obviously, it is less than ideal to have students shouting in the middle of the classroom just to have their voices heard. That’s why the theme of this week’s chat is “Safe Spaces: Methods for Effective Student-Teacher Communication”, cohosted by our friends over at Imagine Learning. We’ll be discussing the best ways schools can allow for Student Voice in the classroom, and the best methods students can use to communicate with their teachers.
David Loitz over at Imagining Learning wrote a blog post as well! See it here.
