WASHINGTON, D.C.— On Friday, November 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Student Voice will be hosting the International Students’ Day Student Voice Summit. Student Voice will be convening young change-makers from its programs, including the Tour Across America’s Schools, Chapters, Ambassadors and Journalism Fellowship, to fuel the next generation of the student voice movement. Students represent all geographic areas from across the U.S.
Students will have the opportunity to unpack their shared educational experiences through Student Voice’s signature roundtable discussions, participate in workshops & trainings and action plan for change in their local schools. Throughout the day, both at the event and on social media, Student Voice will be celebrating the history of International Students’ Day and researching how the next generation of young leaders can continue to promote democracy in education.
The International Students’ Day Student Voice Summit will be hosted at Facebook’s office in Washington, D.C. The media is invited to attend. More information is available at StuVoice.org/events/international-students-day.
